Possible Sales Question!
Hi all,
Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a good one. So pleased the snow/ice is finally off the roads.
Couple of quick questions - I use my S for commutting and due to job change I'm now doing 100 miles a day - sometimes more and of course putting 2k + on the clock. Also what with the crazy fuel costs (paid 135.9 the other day) I am seriously considering sellng it and getting a Diesel Civic...
But:
1) Are S's selling ok at the moment? (its an 07 with 26k on it)
2) Would it be wise to wait until the spring?
I'll be gutted to say goodbye - love the car so much just don't think I can manage the costs espicially as supposed to be saving for a morgage.]

An '07 with 26,000 ought to fetch right around $20k
I really don't think this is a good way to save money. If you drive 100 miles a day 5 days a week you're averaging 24,000 miles per year, which at 26 mpg, and $3 per gallon means your yearly fuel cost is right around $2,800.
If you bought a civic diesel (can you even get these in the US?) and drove the same distance at 40mpg, and paid $3.30 a gallon for fuel. Then you will have saved less than $1,000 over the term of a year.
If I had to save $85 a month I would cancel the cable long before I parted with my car.
