Default Possible top solution!

So found a few rips in my top today. In the same places that everyone has been getting them, back corner and by the latch. Well I took it in to the shop to get the top replaced and showed the owner of the shop, the Honda service bulletin. He said the reason why the tears happened is because the tensioning straps lose their elasticity and don’t pull the bars properly causing them to rub and eventually tear the material. ( He also said a good top lasts 5-7 years.) So Honda might be right or rushing to give a solution.

So check those straps! If they are loose and drooping change them.

Hope this helps!!
