I was not in my S for this but a few years back while vacationing in Florida me and the ex-wife are driving down some oceanfront road in a Mustang convertible when out of nowhere something struck me in the forehead, almost knocked me out! Fortunately, I was able to pull over and stop. I had a cut and a nice scrape on my forehead. I had no idea what hit me and neither did my ex. The people who were driving behind me said I was hit by a seagull!

Wow there's some crazy stories here! I haven't had my S for too long so I haven't had anything too bad happen to me ...

Only semi-bad thing that happened to me... Was driving up Route 28 North in VA where they're building overpasses, and I guess they haven't finished the drainage system yet because the overpass has water running off of it all the time. I slowed down for a red light and saw the water dripping like crazy in front of me ... Wasn't sure what to do, so I just tried my best to avoid where the water was dripping and gunned it so I didnt get too wet.

Not nearly as bad nor interesting as the other stories though!

i've been pooped on once but i was on my way home and was less than a mile away so it didn't bother me too much, but it definitely startled me a bit.

hmm unexpected? i've had many try to ask me what kind of car it is at traffic lights, especially during the day. this is why i only drive with the top down during nights now. other than that, nothing has happened yet.

I had always wondered if this ever happened and found out for myself today. I was leaving campus with the top down and heard a plop. I look down on my shoulder and see where a bird crapped on me and managed to get some over spray on my center console. I stopped by the gas station and cleaned in off my console and shirt. I also got sprayed by a lawn sprinkler the other night.

Anyone else have anything like this happen?
ha ha exact same thing happened to me while back
i was cruising in los angeles it was nice weather so i decided to go DROP TOP
and then i stopped at intersection waitin for Green light and then all of sudden i felt something wet on my thigh and it was bird's poop

my most unexpected top down experience is that people actually look at me and check out my car! I'm so used to "flying under people's radar" in my focus that getting all this attention is veerrry different.
