You just have to dodge them. I used to not drive in a straight line in New York City / New Jersey area. There are too many holes ... and I have to keep drivnig around them. My friends always wonder what I'm doing ...

Yeah it sucks here too. I was driving down a road last week in the dark that I hadn't been on in a while. I hit a hole and was certain i had damaged a rim. I was lucky but wonder if any cities/counties that are responsible for roads have been financially liable for damage to someones car???????

Most of the time, no, they are not liable for damage but your insurance will cover it as a collision.

Correction, at least for this area:

To report a pothole in Seattle, call 206-386-1218. Call 206-684-8213 to file a damage claim.

To report a pothole in the City of Tacoma, call 503-591-5495.

To report a pothole in the City of Bellevue, call 425-452-7840.

To report street maintenance needs in the City of Everett, call 425-257-8800.

if you show proof, chicago usually pays 50% of your repair bill. but that requires a lot of paper work and about 3 months.

when a semi truck that takes up the whole lane ducks pot holes, you're in trouble

lets see your potholes.
