Yup......

Photo from Phantom. I've seen places charge up to $100 a wheel.

Yes ... You can get them done at your local panel/paint shop. The stock wheels look extremely nice in black after you powercoat them.

Yeah, but a chip in the standard alloy won't leave a different colour underneath.........a chip on one of these would leave a silver colour underneath wouldn't it?? then the chips become a lot more noticeable compared to if they were on the standard alloy.........

Here's the detail on how to get it done, it's very simple ... Bring it to a local smash repairer or you probably have a preferred one and ask them for a quote on spray painting the wheels in this case which I would recommend rather than powdercoating ... Not some aerosol can job but the proper vehicle bake room type of job = This case you might want to specify, 2 bake color coat.

Give them the color code [Call your Honda dealership service or parts department for this], I suppose in this case you need to find out what Berlina Black is if you want them done in black as well since I've forgotten the color code. And what you will get later is an exact finish like the body of your car ... Cool isn't it? Even shines in the sun, but make sure you leave the finished job for at least 3 days to let the paint job settle before you put the stripped tyres back on otherwise the tyre machine might damage the paint job on the wheels.

After that, it's quite permanant and it can withstand to some serious abuse but of course everything has limits including your conventional vehicle paint job. I don't know how much the market charges in UK for such a job, but it's quite a fairly simple one and paying USD$50 a wheel is quite reasonable for a decent and professional job. You don't want them to be underpaid and giving you a substandard job in return. G'Luck!
