Default Power drop?

Since I hit roughly 2200 miles on my S my car has developed a problem... well, at least I think it might have. It seems as if the car has lost power; something especialy noticable in first gear (does that even make sense?). It feels like the car is reving, but the power isnt getting to the wheels. Before I take the car in yet again to my dealer to complain about something... is there something that goes on with the ECU at a certain mileage that triggers a change in the power delivery of the engine?

No. If anything the engine gets stronger after it's broken in.

Clutch slip? You hit the gas and the RPM's increase faster than your speed. For instance, if you were in first gear and the RPM's were at 5k yet were only at 5mph.

Recently I noticed that my car just doesn't feel right - at vtec it just doesn't pull like it did before and now I hear some kind of ringing or whining if that makes sense, like air escaping under pressure. I did just switch from a veilside single to a JIC single!
Any ideas????

Yeah, exactly...well, not so severe but you get the gist of it. I hope I don't need a new clutch =(

Check out your exhaust, make sure there are no breaks in the seam lines for your exhaust.

If there was an exhaust leak, it'd be a popping noise, like a Star Wars pod racer...

I believe that it's probably just in your head. The car is really loud although you aren't moving fast. Especially if you are not driving it aggressively. You are probably use to a torqueir car.

if you like to ride the clutch, chances are you already worn out the clutch and now you're experiencing clutch slip.
