Default Power Window Failure

Greetings...new registrant here...

Have been following the boards since purchasing my '06 Laguna BP last July and have gained a lot of insight and information. Thank you all.

Until this weekend, the vehicle has performed flawlessly - approaching 7500 miles on the odo.

Arkansas has many quite lovely state parks which are driven to in 2 to 3 hours mainly on rural roads; perfect for 1 or 2 day top-down outings in my LBP rocket.

Returned from a day trip to Queen Wilhemina State Park on Saturday, parked the car in the garage, and put the top up. When closing the windows, the passenger window did not function. Fuses checked and OK. So my baby goes into the shop for some warranty work.

Anyone else encounter this problem recently?

Check your ON/OFF Switch on the Driver's Side Door

You accidentally turned it OFF

Switch it to ON and your golden

Will do...

Driver's window works. Passenger side does not work from either the driver or passenger side switch.

Would the switch disarm the window from the driver's side?

Yes, that's what it's for. That's got to be the problem.

The switch is a LOCK on the passenger side window

i've had this problem before
so if you swich it back to ON the passenger window will work
on both the drivers and passenger side

good thing it's fixed by the wife 'cause you never know what may happen to the car if you bring it to the dealer for service.

Good thing you got it figured it out. I was going to suggest you check the front of the car and see if it had the Porsche or BWM logo --ha ha!!!

I have friends who own Porsches and BMWs. They are notorious for electrical problems like this...
