Power windows and locks
I have a couple of questions about the so called power locks and windows.
1) Are both doors suppose to unlock when the driver unlocks his door or do you have to reach over and unlock the passenger door? I assumed when I bought this car that power locks meant that you could lock and unlock both doors from the drivers seat. Just want to make sure my locks are working like they are suppose to.
2) There is the speacial lock switch that you can switch on to keep the passenger from being able to roll down his/her window. On most cars, the driver can still put down the passenger window down, even when the lock is engaged by just using the normal power window buttons. Is this not true for the S2000 or are my is my window lock button not working properly.

Eleanor,
1) The passenger side door will not unlock when you unlock the drivers from inside...you have to manually do it.
2) When you use the window lock, the driver cannot roll down the passenger window either.
Just some unusual quirks of this car.

Here are a couple of threads on the topic. An easily avoidable small oversight on Honda's part, but aggravating non the less.

i asked my coworkers about this when i first got the car...
it seems like the bmws behave this way as well...
supposedly it's a security thing to not allow the passenger side to unlock along with the driver's side... (someone might want to jump in the car along with you???) i don't know... it's an inconvenience to me...

I understand what you are saying regarding the passenger door lock not unlocking when you open the driver's door with the key, but why use the key when you have the remote? If you use the remote, as someone has already mentioned, just push the open button a second time (after pausing for about 3/4 of a sec.) to unlock the passenger door, too. And avid fans that we are, nevertheless I hope that no one is loosing sleep over the fact that that the driver's control will not operate the passenger window when the lock switch is not on. Is this a problem when fighting over control of the passenger window, or what?
