Powerchip Australia seems to have a chip for the Celica GTS that produces an extra 15Kw and 20Nm more power. Now I just checked and they don't have one for the S2K, and may not be able to have one at all, but I was wondering if our AUS members could check this out?

Hi Mingster,

I've checked out UniChip and PowerChip and there comments were the same. If someone lends them an S for testing they will make a chip with the best possible settings.

That said, I really do think that the chip in the Honda has the best possible settings (or close to it).

Well...I was hoping they could lean it out a bit, or do something close to what Mugen's ECU does for the S2K.

Powerchip is not the way to go, since the required air/fuel and timing ratios will differ depending on whethe ryour car has mods.

That said, the unichip is a good unit, as it can be reprogrammed at any time. The prob is that you need to have the programming unit which only dealers have.

Guy from Powerchip called me back anyway. He said they are working on a chip but it could be 3 months away. I told him there were potentially hundreds of owners waiting in the wings for a product that actually gave the performance improvements that it claims. Hopefully this will provide them with some incentive. Time will tell I guess.
