Default Pray for my TOP! (Pics)

I posted this thread a few months back about my top:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...top%20userid631

The Honda dealer sent me to an upholstery shop for a 2nd opinion on how it could be repaired. They told me they would be unable to repair it. It is manufactured using a heat seal from the factory that no repair could ever duplicate. Because it is under warranty, the shop advised me to have it replaced.

So, that has lead to this:

Scary pictures! I hope to have my baby back tomorrow. It took the shop much longer than expected and they'll ahve to finish it up tomorrow morning.

I'll share some pics of the install tomorrow.

Will they replace the whole top bars and all, or just the fabric? Good luck

I've been told that replacing the top is at least a day and a half of labor. Not an easy job. Hope it works out ok, Airgate.

The upholderer who replaced the plastic window on my S2000 in August of 2001 had my car for five days. He still didn't get it right!

Luckily I never drive with the top up. ... or the hardtop on ... for that matter.

I'll deal with it later, maybe when there's a compromise with Honda on sharing the cost of upgrading to a glass rear window.

UPDATE! My new top is on my S2000 and it looks great. Only goes down and not back up, but hey, we can't have it all.

Just kididng around. Here's a picture, not that it will help you notice the new top or anything.
