Is there some kind of prepurchase checklist available somewhere? Some kind of list of things to check/look out for when buying an S2000 to be able to assess if it's a good car or not ?

Make certain that you have your funds in order and then take your time and use your common sense for the rest. I find that I discover most of the problems with a car when I look the second and third time, after the initial excitement has dissipated. Come to think of it, it's much the same with women.

 

What a great list to check out a car with. I'm using this list the next time I shop for a used car! I guess kicking the tires doesn't cut it. Does it?
