Personally, I wouldn't buy something for his car unless you're sure he wants it. Everyone's got their own thing regarding what they want in their car. Maybe a gift regarding something besides the car?

If it has to be something for the car though, I'd say something that adds a feature instead of changing appearance in all honesty. If he likes photos and videos, maybe a camera mount.

i think the mirror thing is perfect, he's always complaining about driving with the top up because he cant see cars around him, and thats why i dont like driving it with the top up either. thanks a lot guys for the replies. also, i have been thinking about not buying something for his car that he might want, but normally i dont get him anything anyways, so i figured it cant hurt.

Does he (or you) do the upkeep (Wash & Wax).

How about some detail equipment. Car Shampoo, convertible top care, microfiber, etc, etc. Members in the wash and wax forum would be glad to help (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showforum=15).

I second the voo doo shift knob, I got one for my dad and he loves it. It makes the driving much more enjoyable.

$100? I'd take him to the local strip club and get him a lap dance - he doesn't want your knob...he wants some titties in his face.

Excellent advice. My gf got me a porter cable for my birthday and it was the best present ever.
