found this on ilovebacon.com, which brings up a great resource for everyone - a current sponsor of the s2ki.com site is:

I hope everyone uses it - can be very useful especially if you have a lead foot like me, or put a lot of miles every week while enjoying your s2000 like Insomniak.

Please contribute by posting the highs and lows you find in your area!

(btw, this might seem OT by first glance, but talks about gas prices are definately 'car talk' in nature)

The only problem that I find with this is it doesn't really make a difference. Let's say a station five miles away has gas that is .05 cheaper then the one right at the corner. If you fill the tank on the S2000, you would save .65 In those 10 miles that you put on your car and the time it took, you used about a half gallon of gas. If the price per gallon was 1.80, you spent .90 to save .65

Just my opinion,

Lance

If it's an arm and a leg over in the US then what do we give here in the UK when it's $3.15 a gallon ?

That's pretty cool! We are closing in on $2.00/gallon for premium up here in New England. Sounds like they are giving up some major body parts for the priviledge to drive in the UK, though.

What are prices like in the rest of the world?

In Sydney it's about $1/Litre which is USD$1.9/US Gallon

You'll find that the US and Australia have pretty much the cheapest fuel in the world (except OPEC countries). Count yourselves lucky!

I was in Bali a couple of weeks ago and petrol is about 1000 rupiah a litre. That's about $AUD0.20
