Pricing
I am a newbee to this forum, and I will try not to beat a dead dog. I am on the market for an 03 s2k (Suzuka Blue). The best price I have been given in San Antonio is 31795 (including delivery, but not TTL). Does this sound about right?
Thanks!

New '03's here in the mid-Atlantic area are selling for around $30.3K (before TTL). One dealer even has a couple of new '02's, which he's selling for $29.6K. I think you've still got a little negotiating room there.
I paid 32 for my '03 last fall. I've noticed that the prices have come down a little since then. When I got mine, they wanted a grand more for the blue, which would make it 33. Of course that was a lot of crap, because they said it was a new color at the time and it would sell fast. It's still sitting on the showroom floor as far as I know. Good luck.

As you have seen (RM 4 2 above and others in other posts), many have gotten fantastic deals recently, -meaning 29.5- which is amazing for a sports car, but given the current economic/world situation, consumer confidence and spending are quite low and thus this is definitely a buyers' market time.
I tried San Antonio for my '03 Silverstone and they acted as if they were doing me a great favor to sell at sticker late 2002 so I waited but they didn't budge at all!
I ended up buying it in Dallas, also pretty sleazy sales people, Had I known about the Honda holdback (yes they get it below factory invoice) and some of the deals people were getting in states like VA, I would have pushed harder. Anyway I bought mine in February 2003 ('03 model) for 32K -did get a nice 3.99% apr, however-
So my advice is to seek a better deal, (even if it means doing a little traveling) in higher latitudes...
I would also advise you get a '03 because of some issues with oil starvation in some '02 models that require a recall and also because of resale value later on.
Last but certainly not least: MOVE man, because as spring and better weather arrives, prices are likely to go UP.
Cheers
Daniel
I must say that most of those deals were farther up north than those of us here in Texas.

ALSO: Look at the window sticker.
DO NOT let them charge you pre-delivery service, as this is included in the price already. Same goes for the window etching, what a lousy scam....Do not, repeat, do not let them charge you upwards of $200 for something that costs $29.00!
Good luck!

Thanks all for your responses. More are still welcome. Funny thing how you cannot sleep after taking a test drive. That has never happened to me with ANY care before. The sleep may be worth paying a little more.
