Default PRM Racing Intake

I have been looking for an intake/Header/Exhaust setup while I stack some money away for a supercharger....Anyway I came across this intake made by a company called PRM while on www.fast-autos.net reading thier review of a mildy worked S2000...I was just wondering on how good it was compared to the comptech intake considering that they draw cold are from the same place...Thanks John

I don`t think head soak would effect it too much...It looks to be almost the same design as the Comptech but just looks more raced out.....

I had that intake before I bought my Comptech intake then the supercharger, I really liked the PRM, It sounded wicked at WOT and I cut the fake duct and routed air up to where the fender opens - It is a good intake and is much safer in the rain since the opening isn't sitting low like an AEM or Injen!

PRM is a lousy intake. The filter is very small, the piping is too small, etc. True it draws air from the same place as the Comptech, but the Comptech has (1) a larger filter (2) the "bulge" which acts like a Hemholtz resonator. PRM is not worth the money. I put it on my car and LOST hp. Sure, it sounds great, but that's about it.
