This is the one aspect I miss about my Mazdaspeed3. I could fold the rear seats down and sleep in the hatch with a pillow and blankey. The S I can't sleep in at all.

I have never slept in my S but my girlfriend has. Not sure how she can while I'm driving with the top down with a 3" single exhaust......

Solution:

if early for date/event/meeting
then find nearest twisty road
and keep driving

Driving the S is way better than trying to sleep in it anyways.

If you're short, your head will sit perfectly in the headrest hole.

If you're not a midget, you're screwed.

Thinking back throiugh my experiences as a passenger in any motor vehicle, I have found it very easy to sleep. It has a lot to do with the continual drone of an engine that is hypnotic. You do not have to be perfectly comfortable, just a little tired and ready for a simple nap. I also recall as a kid a very noisy refrigerator that virtually knocked me out at every bedtime.

Somehow I found this hilarious, me being 5 ft 7, it's exactly the thing for me, my head fits perfectly in the headrest hole.

lmao, I'm still laughing about it like a little schoolgirl that got offered a free fondle and lollipops.
