Default Problem with convertible top switch.

Anybody else having a problem with their power top switch? When I try to put the top down, the driver side window does not open completely. It drops a few inches and then stops. If I release the power top switch and try again, the window moves another few inches and stops. The main window switch works... Very strange...

You're not alone. It's covered by the warranty. Take it in and get it fixed.

Yeah, this is a known problem. You might want to wait though - Honda still doesn't have a permanent fix for it. If you get the window regulator replaced, it may fail again.

Mine just started doing the same thing a week ago. Was really hoping that I could tell people that the S2K is more reliable than the Benz E430 I got rid of to buy it........no longer true.

Has anyone out there had a dealer fix this and have it stay fixed?

Just spoke to the service rep at the dealership that I bought the car from... They never heard of this happening before...

And get this... they asked if I've done the first oil change yet. I told her that I did it myself and she said that I should have Honda change the oil for warranty reasons. Huh?

Mine started doing this at about 6,000 miles, however mine is the driver's door and now the one-touch all the way down function no longer works.

As others have indicated it is not your roof switch that is bad. You will need to have the dealer replace the window regulator.

Frankly I see this as a little announce, no big deal. I have read so much about it here that I was sort of thinking it might happen to me anyway.

Give your dealer a call.

ya, you are are right... you would think. But even the fix has known to need a fix, so maybe they have no idea HOW to get it right.
