Angry problem solved: cleaning top of dashboard

getting dust out the defroster windshield vents and pushed some big paper wads into the slit by accident.

They are not visible from the top anymore.

Please give me advice. The thought junk in my dash is really bothering me !!!!!!

Mods, please don't move post because I have one day to find a good solution.

1. Can I reach in throught the cabin air filter opening under hood?

2. is it better to remove dashboard and how complicated is that?

Thanks guys.

I dont suggest removing your dash.. That normally causes more sqeeks and such than it will fix

Seriously, try vacuuming it, but if you can't get it, no biggie - its paper and once its out of site, it won't cause any harm. Pulling the car apart would be a lot worse.

thanks duane and saki. I found the answer to my question but I will need to try in out tomorrow. There is a separate duct for the windshield defroster vent and my junk is sitting inside so I will push a wire through tommorow.

Tried the fan on full blast, That just pushed the white paper piece to the side out of sight.

wish me luck tommorow.

Try one of those "pick-up tools" you know the 3 foot wire with the little fingers on the end and controled at the top by pushing with your thumb.
