I have orange on smoked.
The hyperwhite parking lights do create an interesting pattern on the ground...but the HID's are so over-powering that they go un-noticed driving at night.

Be cautious if getting any hyperwhite running/parking lights. Stay around the 5W range of wattage. Someone not terribly recently now bought some hyperwhites that had the same wedge but were ~ 12 or 15W...and melted a hole in Rick's diffusers. Rick was standup about it (more than might have been necessary under the circumstances) and replaced the guy's damaged diffusers for him (Rick's cool ain't he? ). But let the message of warning be foretold: Don't run on high wattage hyperwhites behind the diffusers

I have had no problem with my smoked JDMs. I did the amber sharpie trick, and noticed just last night that the color is still VERY stong when lit. I did the conversion about 8-10 weeks ago.

Rue, it was that pic. you posted a couple weeks ago, that definetly made me seriously consider smoked diffusers. Thanks for the info.

No prob. Enjoy them as you will NOT enjoy the installation!

(Sometimes I think W1ngman must be some sort of masochist! )

my final thoughts-
have spugen do your install... they are near you and its a great way to spend an afternoon (like a mini-s2000 meet)!
i have done nothing about the bulbs- so i have clear (white) bulbs...
i like the look with the parking lights on-
i think the turn-signal look might be better with orange bulbs, but am not so convinced that i have done anything about them!
