Thumbs up Prodigal Son asking for help

After a long time away from here, I am back with my hat in hand asking for information on the 05 S2K. I find myself thinking about going to look at a used 05 Rio Yellow S2K. I just talked to the owner on the phone and he said: It is a 6 speed, it has (as he put it) the nicer wheels, and the CD changer. It was bought new three months ago (new) for his wife who does not use it as much as she thought she would. (only 2300 miles) He is asking $28,500 for it. It stays in the garage and he claims it is well cared for. It's been several years since I have paid much attention to the S2K and I have forgotten much if what I knew, so I am hoping you guys will bring me up to speed on the 05. Are there any tell-tales to look for? Any issues I should be aware of? I seem to remember that some model year cars had / have body panel rub issues. Thanks for any help you can provide.

For $28.5, you could get a "new" leftover '05.

Way too much. $25k is what I would pay for it. Anything more, I'd rather cough up the extra $2k and buy a brand-new car.

$28K sounds high, but if I was the seller, I'd start high too.
