Now I've heard from someone on the inside at Honda that our car will be built in 2003 also!!! What happened to the limited two year production???

As for reliability of the information, I'd say it's 99% reliable unless Honda decides to make changes to it's long term road map.

As for more info on any other changes, nothing else... yet.

I think it's amazing how Honda is able to keep a secret on the 2002 models in an industry that shows what is going to be produced 2-3 years down the road.

I think this was confirmed a few weeks ago when we started seeing color charts show up for the 2002 models and it shows the two new colors for the S2000.

And yes, Honda does a greta job of keeping things under wraps until they are ready to show them.

That makes sense because the typical Honda design cycle is 4 years (but not always), hence MY2000-2003 for the S2K before an all new car comes out

The Captain,

Is it confirmed that 2 new colors are going to be released 2002?

Phantom,

It's confirmed, as I have seen both colors in the color guide at my local dealer

VA S2K,

Thanks!

Do you know the name of the two colors?

It's going to be a dark blue and a darker silver right?

Well Honda doesn't always do their re-designs every four years -- just look how long the Integra (now RSX) went! I'm also not convinced that Honda will keep the S2000 in it's stables. I'm still thinking they are going to make them, in their current form, for as long as they continue to sell well then probably just stop production (at least that's the most believable rumor I've heard).
