Default A proper burnout, with s2000

I went onto youtube, and all the videos it recommends are s2000 related. I saw this, figured I would click on it. The guy actually did a proper burnout in an s2000, first I ever saw. Anyone tried to do this or you afraid of the diff breaking? Car sounds pretty nice too. Is the owner/drive on here?

As long as you get the wheels spinning it is safe. The diff. Can break when you don't get the wheels quite spinning on a hard launch if they grip too much, either way I wouldnt ever try it. Looks like he had some water to help him out as well, makes the job much easier.

I used to do burn outs all the time NA.

Not so much anymore. I did pop an axle in a foolish attempt at one a year ago, and had quite a burn out by launching too high on not very good tires against a 676 whp z06 the other week at a drag event. (i was nervous)
