Default Proper way to care for softop?

Is their any specific ways that one must take to preserve long lasting preservation of the softop?

IBTL:

do a search in the wash and wax section...lots of stuff on this. Most people will say the same thing tho:

Use 303 Aerospace Protectant.

I use 303. Though a lot of members here are also happy with Raggtopp. I've heard it doesn't run off in the wet like 303 does.

That's actually incorrect. According to 303's website it's OK to use soap, just not heavy duty detergent. Soap, water and a soft, non abrasive cloth or brush would be just fine. Let it dry then use 303 on it and you should be on your way to soft top preservation.

I use Vinylex and am very happy, top looks like new after application and it's 7 years old now.
