proper way to install headlight eye lid?

Default proper way to install headlight eye lid?

ive been thinking about buying my car eye lids to give it a meaner look. what are the proper tools, do i use some type of special glue or tape to put it on?

Not a fan of eye lids. They will just ruin the lines of the car. If you are really decided, a shop that makes window signs should have the adhesive you need.

I had a set of decent carbon fiber ones on my civic years and years ago, and they came with some double sided adhesive tape already on them, kind of like what comes on a lip kit. I recall it holding up pretty well over several years.

But in all honesty, I'm myself, am not a big fan of the eyelid.

The correct procedure would be to obtain the right glue or automotive tape...and apply to your gf's car.

3m's UHB double sided tape is usually what holds them on. It's the grey stuff with the red backing. Should come with the eyelids.

eyelids are usually made to finish off a hood line where the headlight interrupts it, not an issue with the s. which is why they don't look great on an s. just my .02
