Don't let him add to the price of the car that is for sure. I have the 3M on my S2000 and my wifes 335i and I would not buy another car without putting it on, love the product.

I was curious about that too, I prefer completely stock vehicles that nobody has messed with.

i would go over all the nuts and bolts, make sure she was never wrecked. also check the intake/exhaust bolts as well as suspension. if they have tool marks, most likely the car was modded. and there is a good chance it was beat on as well. if anything makes you wary, just walk away. there are plenty of gems out there.

maybe i missed it, but how much? personally, i wouldn't buy the car for more then 20, because cars like mine (brand new leftover) can be had for low 26's if not less.

I love all of the "talk" answers by non-users. I have used several 3-m film products and they are all great. They have saved thousands of dollars of paint jobs for me. They will not harm the paint, it is a benefit, and a blind chimp could take it off if for some insane reason you wanted to remove it.

I just paid $25k for my 2006 here in Florida a month ago, but it only had 2370 miles on it, and that was from a dealer. You should be able to get him down a couple grand considering the miles and the need for tires.

As others have suggested, check the fasteners on the exhaust and suspension for tool marks. I think it would be odd for someone to add that carbon fiber air deflector and not have done any other modifications.

I had the 3M clear bra put on mine and I love it, but like others said, I wouldn't expect it to add value to the sale price of the car.

I know when I was looking for mine I was quoted $28k +++ for a new leftover 2007 by a dealer in Gainesville. He said they still had two NFR's. One in the showroom and one in the back lot. Might be worth a check to see if they still have them around.
