Default Pulled the trigger on MY08

Long story short...went to delear just to LOOK at Chicane silver/black and ended up driving one home.

Noticed scratches on the hood of an '08...was able to negotiate lease down to $339/mo and only $900 total in drive offs (includes first month payment, acquis. fee, etc). Dealer owner came out and was pissed about the scratches.

Apparently, after snow storm, they brushed the snow off all the cars with a broom which had some grit in it. Caused about 5 scratches on the hood about 2 inch in length. Only through the clearcoat and BARELY visible in sunlight. Only visible on cloudy day if you know where to look. can probably be buffed out but I doubt I will.Salesman said (as I was about to drive off) I was lucky. I should be able to negotiate sales price down another $2-3k after lease is up if I keep it. I made sure the scratches were noted in the lease! Went to work on them in my garage with polish and couldn't find them! Just perfect lighting conditions/angle that afternoon that made them stand out.

Thanks again to everyone for helping me decide on the S instead of the MX-5. I LOVE this machine!! And with only 14 miles on it, the break-in is going to kill me....

How many months? Does the $339 include tax, or did you pay that up front. S
