Default purchasing coilovers this week! help!

Hey guys, thanks ahead of time for your help on this. I am purchasing coilovers for my 07 this week and was looking at the tein mono flex, I dont take my car to the track, maybe will on an occasion in the future...Its basically a street car. I heard these were pretty good coilovers and I can get them for a little under 1400.

Here is the model number for reference.

GSH64-F1SS1

I am also purchasing 18" te37's this week

Please if anyone has any input or suggestions, or other coilovers that I should look into it would be greatly appreciated. There is so much out there its hard to decipher through it all.

Thanks!

Not sure about the Tein's, but I picked up the Bilstein PSS9's last month and love them. Found a distributor on Ebay...$1200 shipped (brand new). I really like the fact that the rears have the reservoir just like the OEM rears.

Basically all the $4-5k coilovers will give the same thing. The external dampers for the rear somewhat useful because the shock bodies are so small, so the advantage may go to the Motons over the Sachs or Ohlins if you are doing 10 laps around the Ring. :0 For normal track use I think it would be hard to overheat your shock oil but I defer to those with more knowledge.

I just ordered my Blistein PSS9 3 days ago from Ebay 1200 shipped. It hasn't came yet but I know I will love it since I am on the street 98% of the time. I have done a lot of research and found that the PSS9 fits me the best (price, performance, whats it for, etc.). By the way, the Amuse coilovers are revalved version of the PSS9, I believe.

Good luck on your purchase

So what's the point of upgrading them again? If you don't need the extra performance and adjustability, you're wasting money.
