haha, dont feel silly, when its cold i run the top down with the heater on haha
I know...cool air just a push of the button away...I just can't seem to get myself to do it. I'd rather put the top up and THEN run the AC.

Oddly enough...I find absolutely nothing wrong with having the top down, warm clothes and the heater blasting.

I keep thinking back when I was growing up..."Boy-shut that refrigerator door...." or "Close that front door...you're letting the air out." You guys remember....

If the temp is 80+ I put the top up. When I first got the car I drove with the top down all the time, but I'm pretty much over that now.

Mostly I drive the TSX in the daytime during the summer. The A/C works soooo much better. The S2000 can come out at night when the temp has cooled off a little bit.

Patiently waiting for fall and 75 degree days.

I enjoy cold weather w/ warm clothes and heater MUCH more than hot days with t-shirt and A/C. The humidity is what kills me in NJ, if it were more dry, I'd be able to handle the sun.

I have one word for you guys: sunscreen!!!

I am one of the folks who runs the A/C with the top down. I, too, find that windows up helps keep the cooled air in the cabin a little better.

On July 21st, we drove north on 101 from Thousand Oaks to San Jose. We were top down until we turned away from the coastal influence, and were rolling into Paso Robles. We figured it was hot, and when we confirmed it was 112, we put the top up and cranked the A/C.
PS. With the cruise set at 75, and A/C on recirc for half the trip, we acheived a calculated 29.94 mpg.

I am with you. The A/C burns more gas and saps power, the heater does not do the same- just pulls heat from the engine(which is present whether or not you run the heater). Heat makes a lot more sense than A/C with the top down IMO...
