Default Qube's LED Dash solution - Interest List

After almost a year of research and testing, I've finally come up with a solution for changing the dash color that is easily viewable, even in direct sunlight with dark sunglasses on. Coloring is done using colored gel filters, resulting in true color reproduction no matter how bright it is outside.

The kit will include the following...

1) A modified gauge housing with an array of high flux cool white LEDs.

2) A replacement light diffuser to replace the yellow and orange stock diffuser.

3) Color Gels and a shape template to create the color scheme you want.

In the above setup, I am running no color filter (white base color) for the RPM band and the speedometer, red for the redline, and blue for the Temp, Gas, Odometer, and MPH/KPH switch, . The color configuration you choose is up to you. Red and Blue filters will come standard, with all other options available on request.

Here is a daytime pic to illustrate brightness...

The estimated price is between $400 and $500.

Please sign up here so I can get an indication of how many kits I should make.

Thanks!

Wow... that color scheme would look great in the Suzuka Blue! All blue and white, that is.

Put me down as an interested buyer. I'm hoping the estimated price will go lower, though!

Wow, nice looking. Any chance of getting a peek at some other colors, or at least a list of available colors? Can we order colors separately and are they easy to change or are they permanent once installed?

Obviously I'd be interested in a buy for this. I'm also interested in your audio "solution" but I was wondering if it works with the stock radio? I've read over the threads for the audio unit and the features look great but I'm not an audiophile nut and not really sure what I want to do with my stock unit. Perhaps I'll pm you about this before this gets too far off topic. Anyway, nice work Art.

I love it. I never much liked the orange/yellow.

Put me down for one.

I have to agree with that! $500 is a lot for me, too, but I'm trying to go slow with the mods. This looks like one that will be well worth the time and effort. For that price, though, I wish it came preassembled.

Thanks for the tip. I will see what additional parts I can include in the core exchange to minimize the install process. It will never be a complete gauge cluster swap, however, since the mileage of the car is stored inside the gauge cluster, from what I understand.

Looks Great! I have a white/tan grand prix 2003. Gauge will match the outside color really well. I am in for this Mod. Qube, add me to the list.
