Hello all.

I had a question about stock ECU for S2000s. My friend told me that the ecu equipped on s2000s ('06~'07 models) logs in the history of your S2000. History such as highest rev you shifted at, the air'fuel ratio (to show if intake or /header exhaust was installed previously), highest speed, and if you ever launched hard or did burnouts. He told me that the ECU has been upgraded for warranty purposes because Honda dealers do not want to fix something under warranty when it was owner's abuse to his/her own S2000.

Can anyone clarify if this is indeed the truth? I have never heard of this until he mentioned it.

BTW he owns a '07 Civic Si and he took the car into the dealer for services and the mechanic told him about this ECU thing.
