I suggest:

1) a better topic title than "Question"
2) posting this in S2000 Talk rather than R&C

To answer your "question", its the dbw system - it holds rpms for a sec after you're off throttle.

We all have it, been discussed at length before, learn to live with it.

This is incorrect. Nothing to do with the DBW system. It's been discussed before here and on HT, but unfortunately I can't find it. It happens on mine too. It also happened on my 01, it just depends on the way you drive.

Well, from what I've read around here, its 06 and 07 owners that experience it, and they say its the dbw. Maybe they said it was the ECU in dbw cars.... ECU or dbw system, I see tham as one and the same, and it involves the system holding rpms for fuel efficiency. 06+ owners have complained about this and about a "dead spot" on a fast 1-2 shift, although that could be dbw, cdv, weak PP, who knows...

Let me know if you find a link.
