I'm assuming that you bought your car used? It didn't come with the car so it is probably for an aftermarket alarm. Did your car come with an alarm? If not, then its just a toggle... look to see where the wires run from it.

I also feel that it's the valet button for the alarm.

Most shops place it under the dash (it's sloppy to put the button there). Honestly, you should relocate that button if you could. That button has the ability override your alarm -- making the job easier for thieves.

If its a small black button in the driver's left kick panel, then yes, it is most likely an alarm controller. I've only been able to use mine to turn the alarm on or off, but you should be able to do much more with it. Look under the hood for an alarm horn and work from there

It arms a Hofco alarm. If someone carjacks you and takes your S at gunpoint, in exactly 30 seconds it will simultaneously switch off the ignition, sound an alarm, and send 50,000 volts through the steering wheel.

I'm pretty sure that if you play with it long enough, your car might have an orgasm. She might scream louder, too.

It is installed with the Honda alarm system. If you don't use the key or remote to open the door and the alarm goes off, you put the key in the ignition and push this button to disable the alarm.
