Hello,

I recently purchased a Seibon C/F hood for my S. Upon delivery of the hood I realized dings, looks like hail damage. I am being told this is imperfections with the carbon fiber weave. I currently do not have pics but they can be taken. Any input?

The good stuff is flawless but will cost you a pretty penny

Are you thinking its normal?

 

Probably going to need pictures if you want an accurate answer. If the dings follow a regular pattern, then it probably part of the weave, but it's been a long time since I've seen a piece of CF that big.

 

Seibon is just poor quality.........on alot of there parts its just a sheet of CF over fiberglass

Ok....Still searching for an ansewer. Can little dings be an imperfection in the weave?

 

I have found out this is normal imperfections, YAY!!! I didnt get ripped off. But next time I will definatly take your alls advice and go Mugen
