Default Question about digital tach?

HI,

On the tach is it supposed to have one yellow line all the way to the left, then a blank spot, and then the rest of the tach? Or is it supposed to be continuos from left to right with no missing yellow bars??

Thanks
Drew

Wonder why the disabled that on ours and not yours?
Come to think of it that would be so that the canadian delivered cars can be manufactured to the same spec as US. Is this correct?

More than likely disabled for us who Aussies due to the lowest common denominator factor. If some fool tried changing them one day and forgot he left it on MPH, and since our road signs read KPH, the poor sod may believe the speedo to be reading KPH.... So here he is puttling along what is believed to be 50KPH in when in fact the speedo is reading that in MPH and is actually travelling at 80KPH.

Of course, a person of normal intelligence and deduction can tell the difference but hey.... it will prevent a lot of lawsuits against HA.

It won't matter for those guys up north cause it will work the other way around.

It could also be that Canada has speed limit signs in km/h and many many americans travel to canada for vacation buisness etc. ( And vice verasa ) Makes it nice if you're driving there and not know how to convert between the two.

I switched my speedometer to kph last time I drove through Canada. It sure made it difficult to keep track of fuel mileage, though.
