Back on topic...

My hair is usually spiked and it is no problem with the top down.

But I'm 5'6 and sit really low in the car so most of the wind isn't bothering me much. I also have MajorHavoc headrest block things. (Only $20)

Why worry about your hair? Your driving an "S" That's enough!

I have accepted the fact that whenever we are out in the S my hair will look like you know what and I wear a baseball cap to hide it.

^ I was waiting for some chicks to weigh in here...I can't believe a guy started this thread. I was gonna suggest a cap (that's what I do) or shave your head. If you have to worry about your hair so much, maybe a convertible isn't the way to go.

Deb,

We Vintage folks don't worry too much about this stuff do we? The fun of the "S" outweighs "convertible hair."
