I just got my countersunk shiftnob from muz (thanks muz!) and as I was installing it right now I noticed that I couldnt get the leather part to look flush with the knob like I see in most pictures. I spun the knob as much as I could until i wouldnt go down anymore and I can still see the stem. How do I eliminate that? I thought it would go so far down until it would cover it whole but am I suppose to lift the leather part? What do I do? Thanks.
