Can anybody recommend me a high quality quick release and a recommended place to purchase from?

what are the specific differences between the hex, Spline, and ball bearing?


i am currently interested in the rapfix design. feel free to add any input on your experiences with various types of quick releases.

also where would i be able to purchase a hub? i am interested in the short style one due to the fact the rapfix version is about 2.5 in.

my main concern is deciding for a quick release that is made of hi-material with little or no play. i dont want to go cheap on a quick release that can cost me my life.
