Default question about reprogram used key

Hi guys,

i owned AP1 2000 in Indonesia. Bought from a used car dealer(mix of 2nd car dealer) which i recieved only the key itself and i been told lost all keys.
Anyway, the question is i bought used service book with keys and remote which the car is wreck in Australia.
currently study in australia so might be able to find parts and stuff for s2k easier than my hometown due the rare.
May i be able to reused the key or reprogram the key since i got 1key only without remote.

i am not able to went to dealer in indonesia asking them to reprogram, since i check my ap1 is import from australia to indonesia at that time.
the only place i can get key reprogram is locksmith right?

to clear confusion most asia country Honda dealer dont sell s2000 only importer dealer sell s2000.

please guys need assist and help.

You say you have the service manual (book). All the information you need is in there under section 22. The remote can be programmed by you. The procedure is in the book under "keyless/power door locks/transmitter programming".
Programming the key can only be done by a dealer with a PGM tester that has the proper immobilizer program installed. A locksmith will not be able to do this for you.

For ap1 you can have a locksmith use a general Honda key to make the duplicate. you can use ANY Honda remote and program it to the car.
