I assume you mean the lower rear tie bar? If so, it's just a direct replacement of the stock one. It's a big waste of money as it isn't even bigger then the stock one. You are just paying for looks. Not hard to install at all if you can turn a ratchet.
i saw somewhere on the site someone had done a big test with each brace. they started with a stock car then added each brace one at a time. i belive they were testing at road atlanta. well when it came time to change the rear lower bar he was useing a spoon x-brace spoon stb and spoon rear lower tie brace. in his opinion it did make a difference when coupled with all the other braces. but alone really wouldn't make any difference. if you plan on tracking the car i see no reason why not to change it. besides it does look pretty cool . i have a cusco and you can see it pretty good.
I personally didn't feel any difference with the rear lower cross beam. Of the four braces I have I feel the most noticeable ones are the front lower X-brace and the rear STB.
The Spoon X-brace is made very well, don't get me wrong, but I had mine on my car for less than a year before I pulled it off and sold it used.
I replaced it with the Neuspeed X-brace because I change my own oil, and the design of the reinforcement brackets on the Spoon was just plain not thought out at all. The whole idea that the silly thing is directly below the drain bolt is crazy!
If you are going for an X-brace I vote Neuspeed over Spoon.
