Default Question about Spoon S2000 F20C motor...

I heard that it got 260 RWHP, not 260 to the crank...

can anyone verify this?

RWHP takes into account drivetrain power losses. Seeing as how many stock S2000s are 200+ rwhp, 260 rwhp would be very good for N/A, weak for FI, but Spoon is not FI.

yea, for an N/A engine, that's pretty good.

that would be incredible if it was rwh. i am also assuming that this would be their blue printed motor with all their internals correct? not just the blue printed motor

260RWHP would be very strong for a NA F20c, IMO.
That's most probably over 50hp more than the average JDM S2000 .
I remember someone buying a Spoon engine from MGRacing.
Maybe we can get this number confirmed .

I always assumed it was at the engine or flywheel...and I always wondered why it wasn't higher.

I've been told that although the peak power figure of 260 isn't very 'impressive', the entire power band, and especially torque, is significantly improved over the stock form...I've seen the dyno graphs, but unfortunately only on paper...I'll try to get them scanned and post them!
