Default Question about stock leather seats..

Picked up my MY04 S2000 about a week and a half ago and SOMEHOW somebody in my passenger seat scratched the leather on it. Its not deep or anything, but it is noticable..in direct sunlight however. Is there anything I can treat it with? I'm paranoid, yes I know, but I want my stook to be perfect

Try leather conditioner or maybe meguires leather wipes they make the seats slightly darker. It could help cover it up a little bit.

, but before you condition, use some black shoe polish or a black magic marker. This will hide the scratch even more.

Black shoe polish...rubs back off onto your clothes as we have seen on many occassions. (Not very good when your female friend wears those cute white pants and comes for a ride...)

Magic Marker...not a good choice, it can be very shiny, thus resulting in a major difference from the duller sheen of the leather.

I am sure each of these would work ok, but not on a brandy new '04, he wants the best and I would too.

There is a special product made for scratches like this that any consumer can use, it is a special rub-in product that replaces the finish that has been scratched off, very easy to use, just rub it on and let dry (just make sure the towel is always moist and doesn't get sticky as it dries, if this happens, remoisted before proceeding)

Try kiwi saddle soap great product .Cleans and conditions
used on saddles and shoes for years.Worked great on my seats .Also note that Honda calling our seats black is really kinda hard to accept cause if our seats are black then what is berlina .Now the outside of a berlina is black as we all know it seems our seats are a dark gray .Do not use black marker.
