question about the windshield trim

It's weird how only US and Canadian S2000s have the tape. Other markets don't.
Honestly the tape isn't so great of any idea:
Soft top up = times you don't care too much about the looks of the car, or at least the windshield (i.e. dark at night or raining outside)
The car looks better without the tape when the top is down

I cant believe you guys are sticking up for putting tape on a car. They are honda engineers they should have and could have figured out a better solution. I dont have a lack of knowlage, what is to know? There is tape on the car where paint should be.

There IS paint and it's covered with Tape. It comes off easy if that's what you prefer.

Enjoy YOUR cars with tape on them thats a "mod" i am going to do asap is take tape off the car its just devestating to know that part of my car would be tape. What other convert. has tape to match the soft top?

I haven't been able to sleep for months now and I just pinpointed it to having the tape on the windshield thanks to you!!
