I was wondering if anyone knew what carbon fiber weave the Mugen CAI uses? is that a 4x4 weave?

Also, I was looking through Mastergrades website and found they have a carbon fiber dash piece. I was wondering if anyone had one and if it was a direct replacement or a very large overlay (some type of carbon fiber cover)

gee talk about glare from your dash...it's most likely an overlay...

i was just looking for more info...seeing how this product was...just curious to see if someone really made a bolt on carbon fiber dash replacement, or if it was a cover.

any info on the mugen intake weave?

 

Damn...they have carbon fiber everything...You could turn your interior into a rolling carbon fiber cockpit if you wanted through mastergrade...but the glare on the dash would probably get old after awhile...Still a lil intriged

 

It's just a cover. Look where the airbag is for the passenger side. You can see a 1/4" gap from the cover to the dash. Their quality and fitment sucks anyway.

would anyone be interested in a matte version of this cover?

 

I believe the Mugen CAI is 1x1 weave?
