Default Question re: s2000 owners

Do you consider yourself Honda Enthusiasts or s2000 Enthusiasts?

I`m a Honda Enthusiast. I enjoy meeting other Honda owners no matter what they drive. Lately, it seems like the s2000 crowd only wants to meet other s2000 owners and anybody else is just a "ricer". What do you guys think?

tia,
Ryan

Well at the meet on Sunday, it seemed that the S2000 people hung out with each other and the Honda enthusiasts hung out. For me, I'm just a car enthusiast in general.

If it looks good and goes fast, I'll like it. Guess I'm just a car nut in general.

I like all fast cars that look good. Mazda, Honda, Toyota, whatever.

The S2000 is my first Honda. My wife's had 3 Honda's (Accord and 2 Accuras) and likes them. Honda reputation played a part in my purchase, but mostly it's just such a cool car. Hey, with the same look and performance, if it were a Yugo I'd have bought - well, maybe that's an overstatement!

Definitely an S2000 enthusiast (or sports car enthusiast). I am not one of the guys who worships Preludes, RSX's, Integras, etc. I do admit, however, that Honda's reputation for reliability made the decision to buy it easier.

I have a prelude and like other Honda's, but I'm definitely an S2000 enthusiast. I'm not really on any other boards and don't get as excited about any other cars.

Interesting question??..hmm.

This is my first Honda. Up until the S2000, I sort of thought of Hondas not as sports cars(never looked closely at the performance models of Accord, Civic etc). My Honda impression was more like plain reliable vanilla.

S2000 changed all that, and I have SEEN THE LIGHT!!! Now I check out(and am impressed by) other Hondas, but suspect I'm basically an S2000 Enthusiast.

I've even bought my daughter a Civic since the S2000 purch.

The S2000 is going to suck in a lot of others who may never have looked.

Honda hit it out of the park with this one.

Good question....

I think I'm starting to see myself as a Car Enthusiast. I like varying makes and models of cars. Nothing specific...its a more broad view on cars.
