The first comment I got on my Suzuka blue was at a gas station. This guy was with his wife and kids in a Camry and said to me, "F**ing nice car". I was kind of startled.

Anyway, I don't think it's a "fruity" color at all, and IMHO the interior is the nicest one available on an S2k. The pictures on Honda's site don't do it justice - it is more silvery and less violet than that.

I have to say, though, I really don't like the orange indicators w/ the blue. I'm in line to get Rick's clear diffusers which will solve that problem!

I have to agree, that the all blue interior is just about one of the most unique things i've ever had in my life! This is the first time i've had a car with a all blue exterior and interior! It's a perfect match and combination! I was at the gas station filling up, when the owner of the gas station came out and told me how he loved my all blue interior. His wife then came out and told me that my car looked cute!

I don't wanna be seen as driving around a "cute" car as I guess it's a threat to my manhood or something like that. However, no matter what the ladies say, I really love this Suzuka Blue as it's unique. It's not a traditional blue, but thankfully it's also not a ricer shade of blue like Electra blue on the Civic Si which I can't stand. IMHO, blue is supposed to be a nice subtle color, not a loud in your face color.

Is is just me, or does the Suzuka Blue seem to attract more attention on this board?

I can't put my finger on it, but the Suzuka seems to have more topics concerning it. I don't have the specs on the site in terms of a word search of how many topics concern certain colors; I'm NOT saying Suzuka is the "better" color than others; every color is subjective to the owner and what he/she likes.

But I am curious to know why this color gets more attention than others? I don't seem to read a lot of whole topics concerning the other colors.

One more thing I noticed is that it hides the dirt well. I have to make excuses for washing it. My wife thinks it's clean.

I have owned my '02 Suzuka Blue since Aug. 17, 2002 here in Memphis, TN and I have had nothing but compliments from everyone who sees it! People literally stop what they are doing and crane their necks to get a look at it. I've never had this response from any of the cars I have owned over the years. No one has ever said anything about it being a gay color, either. It's always, "That is the best looking car I have ever seen!"
