Default quick ordering info?

Well, I recently stepped over to the Honda dealership by my parents house and took my sister who was looking for a new car to pick up a 05 civic coupe special edition. While I was there I finally took a good look at the S2k and utterly fell in love.

I have been in the market for a new car for a few weeks now. I currently drive a ZX3 which is an utter lemon I mean it's a ford... (Found On Road Dead... Fix Or Repair Daily) ... whatever the case I got tired of it even though it was a decent daily driver... but I was in the market for a new sports car.

I was originally fixated on an AWD rally econobox (evo, sti) but opted for something different in the form of a 350 or G coupe... but after scoping the s2k and sitting in it I couldn't help but shake it from my mind.

I love the berlina black, but all I can seem to find is that I can only get black on black... or white on tan...

A friend of mine informed me that the S2k can be ordered for example berlina black with red/black interior or white with red/black interior? if this is true please can anyone let me know... and if it is true how do I go about doing so... I noticed on hondacars.com I could not select such an option on build and price... any info would be appreciated in my struggle to join the ranks of the S2k driver... thanks guys!

http://automobiles.honda.com/models/model_...erDetected=True click on "Build and Price Your S2000" Generally, if you can't find the exact one you want dealerships will be willing to search around for you.

I read somewhere on this site that some people actually asked the dealership to switch the interior color from one car to another....some got it for free while other paid a small fee....but either way ask your dealership about it and see if they can do it........

I wish it were that easy. None of the dealerships save the one who offered me the highest price have been willing to do that! Bastards.

Ordering a new one would be sweet. I'm sure dealers have allocations, I bet they can ask for a specific color combo. I'll have to check into this. I know it's not a BMW-like ordering process for the customer.

Why not search nationwide for a dealership that has the combo you want and are willing to give you a decent price on it and either fly/drive out to get it or just have it shipped to you?

There is no Honda inventory search by color, unfortunately. Plus shipping will range from $500-$1000.

And besides that, there are 40 dealerships within a 75 mile radius of my apartment, ONE of them should have silverstone on red/black!!

agreed, hopefully I can head to honda tomorrow and ask them there if it would be possible to specifically request a color combo... keep your fingers crossed for me everyone... if not I guess I'll have to go custom
