Quick Question
So I'm going to be picking up a set of OEM wheel locks after work today and want to know if I need to raise my S before removing the lug and replacing it with the lock or can I just leave it on the ground and intall the wheel lock?

Just leave the car on the ground and remove one of the lug nut and replace it with the lock and tighten it to 80 ft-lb of torque.
Also whenever you replace the lugnuts or key locks you should re-tighten them after driving for about 100 miles to prevent them from coming loose on its own.

why are you riskign damaging the thread on your bolt? just lift the car up and do it propelry, the extra amount of work involved is not worth the risk even tho it MAY and probably WILL be perfectly okay it takes an extra 5 minutes to jack up a car if you have half decent arms =]
