I leave my car on the tires every winter. No problems whatsoever. It does get driven at least once every 6 to 8 weeks or so, though.

Id say its fine to leave the tires on, however if you have the option maybe take them off or place something under the tire so the unsprung weight has no adverse effect on the suspension while just hanging there.

Your fine.

The car can sit in all honesty with the tires on and not on stands. All you will do is develop some flat spots in the tires, but they will go away with a few miles on the car.

General consensus seems to be no on the jack stands, it is not great on the suspension or bushings.

As long as you have carpet or some other padding under the tires, flat spots should be minimal and will go away after a couple of miles as someone said earlier.

The owners manual states jacking the car up for long term storage...

^^^Yes, but research it once, there were enough people that dissagreed, that I decided not to jack it up.

I have stored cars every winter for 31 years. I have never put them on stands and I don't roll the car either. I have never had a problem. I inflate the tires to 45 lbs. If you do insist on putting it up on stands, support the suspension, don't let it hang. As others have said, that is not good for the bushings.
