Default Quiet Intake

Besides the J's silly expensive intake, are there any that are quiet and produce any power over stock?

Right now I have an AEM V2. This is a track only car. Every time I go to Laguna Seca I have to put the stock intake back on to pass sound. I've now added remote reservior shocks that mount where the stock intake goes. I need something quiet that's not huge.

I have been researching intakes for a while now and have come to the resolution that the stock air box gutted, with a drop in filter, and some type of snorkle or cooling plate like the AUT plate will work just as good as the J's or Mugen intakes.
Those intakes are more for the bling factor.

Mugen and J's intakes are quiet. I'm sure ASM's intake is quiet as well. If you are really concerned with the noise, I suggest getting a snorkel instead.

very Quiet but, I don't think you will have the room for it with the remote reservior shocks you added. It will get you 8 ft pounds of tq down low and 5 to 6 hp over all.

It also run much cooler

I know she could use a good polish but, function is beating out form right now It is still in prototype stage, the finished unit will be a bit prettier with a better lid.
I will post dyno results as soon as they are sent to me from the tuner shop.
It has ram-air through the front bumper vents as well

Interesting. If the claims are as you say then it's probably one of the best intakes yet.
