I like my Tanabe Medalion with a Berk header and HFC. It's fairly quiet unless I'm running up to redline, and even then its still below 90db based on sound readings at autocross events. Not sure how different it will be on your setup though.

Do you think the HFC make much of a difference? Im stock CC now.

I've had the HFC on the car for so long I can't say for sure. I ran the header and cat with the stock exhaust for a few years before I got the Tanabe, and I don't remember much of a sound change other than maybe a little less drone at highway speeds. With the Tanabe having dual mufflers and a 3rd muffler/resonator, I would think it would be fairly quiet no matter what the rest of the setup might be.

the ZAFT and REMARK exhaust that just came out seems to be like a very quiet setup if you opt to run without the restrictor plate to the resonator. Plus you get 3 modes of quiet, sport, and race.

https://www.zeroautofactory.com - here's the site for the exhaust mentioned, not much info on it yet, but looking forward to seeing some reviews!

Also, seems like this just was teased, although I think people have varying levels of satisfaction with their products https://balladesports.com/collection...type-s-exhaust

Quieted my Q300, perhaps too much, by replacing the Invidia bottle resonator with a Magnaflow 2.5 in inlet/outlet 14inch can. Dropped 8-10db off sound level comparing peak levels using an iPhone decibel meter. Deepened the tone too. Thinking of going to Vibrant 12” bullet with 3inch inlet/outlet. Feels like I lost a little with the 2.5 inch restriction. Might just be an illusion tho.

FWIW, I ended up going with a Berk HFC and the Tanabe (Revel) Medallion cat back exhaust. It has a Skunk 2 header on installed by LHT. Love the sound, a subtle deep tone.
